Bart makes the step to GT3 following a highly successful BMW M2 Cup campaign that saw him fight for the championship into the final round while taking two victories and finishing fourth or higher in eleven out of the twelve races. The only worse finish being a DNF in a race Bart led from the beginning until a slow puncture put an end to his day.
While competing in the BMW M2 Cup Bart has also paired with Keir McConomy in the BRSCC Supersport Endurance Championship, finishing 1st in class for four of the five races he attended with four pole positions to go with them in 2023.
Bart has once again teamed with Keir in 2024 and their season so far has begun in a similarly dominant fashion, with pole position and victory by over a lap in all of the first three rounds.
These recent successes combined with race wins and pole positions in the F1 feeder series of British F4 and British F3 prove Bart has what it takes to succeed at the highest level of the sport and take the next step towards being Australia’s first DTM Champion.
